MTL Airguard Radio Frequency surge protector

The AirGuard line of surge protection devices provides radio frequency protection and includes both gas discharge tube (GDT) and quarterwave stub technologies (QWS). MTL Data Surge Tester

MTL Data Surge Tester is a versatile and compact, bench-top test device designed to give performance status of data communication surge protectors. This portable, rugged tester analyses the surge protector’s continuity and leakage current, making these tests quick and easy during routine maintenance. LEDs illuminate to indicate surge module health, allowing users to quickly determine whether the surge protection device has failed or degraded in performance to an unacceptable level.

MTL HW48 Honeywell STT350 surge protector

The HW48 device safeguards Honeywell STT350 intelligent transmitters against surges and transients from field cabling. This Honeywell tested and approved unit fits onto the side of the STT350 transmitter inside the standard ‘flameproof’(Ex d) enclosure housing giving a 10kA level of protection. Installation and earthing is simple so even existing installations can easily be upgraded by retrofitting the HW48. Analogue and Smart local current meters can be wired into the transmitter and will benefit from protection provided by the HW48.

MTL MA15 AC and DC mains filter and surge protector

MTL MA3100 Type 2 surge protector

This cost effective surge protector is for applications described by IEC 61312 where the surge protector could carry a partial share of the lightning surge current. The Class I devices, rated for 50kA (10/350µs), are deployed at the service entrance, followed by Class II rated devices at key power panels.

MTL MA3350 distrbution board compact surge protector

The MA3350 is available for either AC or DC applications. The AC & DC versions are rated to a full 50kA (8/20µs) with the DC version also rated at 15kA (10/350µs). In the AC three phase unit there are four (4) such modes giving a total unit rating of 200kA.
