KD Series Thermal Breakers

Heinemann KD Series thermal circuit breakers are available in both AC and DC ratings in accordance with UL and CSA standards. Heinemann offers a range of ratings from 0.25A through 15A at 250VAC and/or 32VDC. The circuit breakers are installed in a hole similar to a glass fuse holder and can be mounted from front or rear. They come with either a standard round black cap or a rectangular cap supplied in any of seven standard colors.

KD Re-Cirk-It® Pushbutton Circuit Breaker

The Heinemann KD1 provides circuit protection similar to a fuse. Unlike a fuse that must be replaced, pushing the Re-Cirk-It reset button closes the circuit again once the electrical problem has been corrected

1U Slimline Series up to 100A

The 1U Slimline seris is designed specifically for rack-mount applications and offers the precision performance of a full size hydraulic magnetic breaker in a miniaturized package. The reduced height is ideal for tight spaces and allows greater design flexibility.

The 1U Series Slimline is the first hydraulic magnetic breaker to use a snap action mechanism which improves reliablility, safety, and performance. With the snap action, the contacts are controlled by a stored energy mechanism that closes in one swift motion when the operator switches the handle to the ON position. This prevents premature contact failure and improves efficiency for higher current ratings.

PROPAK® Series

The PROPAK Series is the most aesthetic of the Heinemann circuit breakers, offered with a standard paddle handle or a bezeled rocker handle with or without illumination. It can be mounted from the front or back, and can be printed circuit board mounted as well.

The PROPAK Series is available in one or two poles up to 20A AC or DC with UL, CSA and VDE agency certifications. The small size of the PROPAK allows it to fit within narrow spaces vertically, and the it can be stacked side by side to create high-performance low-current power distribution panels that can replace supplementary or branch fuse panels.

Heinemann J Series

The J Series has long been an OEM's first choice because of their compactness, lightweight and high-performance.

Single or multiple pole applications include:

The J Series are available with snap-in color caps to add attractiveness and utility. They can be printed circuit board mounted as well.

The J Series is especially suitable for global market applications because of the wide variety of UL, CSA and VDE listings.

Heinemann AMR Series

The AMR Series is rapidly becoming the world defacto hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker because of it versatility. It combines proven high quality and reliability with the spacing, dielectric and interruption requirements of UL, CSA and VDE.

The AMR Series is available with standard toggle handle, lighted handle, and rocker handle, for single or multiple pole applications. Each style comes with a large variety of current and interruption current ratings; circuit and auxiliary switch configurations; trip/delay characteristics; handle color, marking and locations and mounting and connection options. The AMR Series is rated up to 100A with interruption current ratings up to 50kA, eliminating the need for branch fusing.

UL 489 Listed

The AMR Series is UL 489 Listed and CSA certified for branch circuit applications. It is also UL 1077 recognized for use in panels where branch circuit protection is already provided

Heinemann C Series

The CD-CE-CF Series is competitively priced with E-frame breakers while providing a compact and versatile 100A equipment and branch circuit protector. It is a popular choice for elevated temperature single and three-phase panelboard and switchboard applications up to 600V. The CD-CE-CF Series is available with an interruption current up to 50kA, which eliminates the need for branch or main fusing.

The CD-CE-CF Series is stocked in a wide range of standard ratings for fast delivery, with multi-pole models up to 6 poles available with individual or common trip operation. Special-function internal circuits may be varied from pole to pole. The CD-CE-CF Series is available in a broad range of circuit configurations, trip/delay characteristics and mounting and connection options.

The CF Series additionally has UL 489, UL 508, and CSA listins as a Manual Motor Controller, permitting it to be used in electrical heating, air conditioning and other high-voltage applications where overload protection, rather than fault interruption, is the design criterion.

Heinemann GH Series

The GH Series is a rugged EH-frame UL-recognized breaker offering the advantages of a completely magnetic single to four pole breaker up to 750V and an interruption current of 10kA, yet less expensive and more compact than a conventional EH-frame breaker.

The GH Series is widely used in environments that are both elevated temperature and high vibration, such as environment management and transportation systems. The GH Series is stocked in a wide range of standard ratings for fast delivery.

Heinemann AM1P Series

Increased performance and compact packaging make the AM1P perfect for demanding dc applications. The AM1P delivers maximum performance in the smallest package size available in the industry.

With a 250 ampere current rating and 50,000 ampere interrupting capacity at 80 Vdc, the AM1P is ideal for telecommunications sites with space constraints or high current applications.

Heinemann GJ Series

The GJ Series circuit breakers are the logical choice for high quality service entrance and panelboard applications, as well as control and protection of commercial and industrial lighting, transformers, motors, power supplies and backup power generation systems. The GJ Series is available in one to three pole configurations with true multi-pole trip construction, such that a trip on any pole trips all poles simultaneously.

The GJ Series is available in single or multiple pole applications with a wide variety of UL/CSA listed current and interruption current ratings; circuit and auxiliary switch configurations; trip/delay characteristics; and mounting and connection options.

The precise tripping at 100% rated current, precise time delays under a wide temperature range and ability to interrupt high currents make the GJ Series the choice for critical applications with inductive loads up to 280A. Overloads exceeding 1000 percent instantaneously bypass the time delay trip characteristic, interrupting currents of as much as 100kA at 65VDC or 18kA at 240VAC

Heinemann GJ1P Series

GJ1P Series Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Breaker The GJ1P Series is the flagship of the Heinemann product line, featuring a patented precise current equalization construction that distributes current among multiple poles for a cooler breaker operating at 1200A. This features eliminates nuisance tripping, which can occur with conventional parallel pole breakers.

Interruption current ratings of 100kA up to 700A and 50kA up to 1200A are available for the most demanding backup power generation and distribution needs, completely eliminating the need for branch and main fusing.

An optional shunt (25mV or 50mV) permits metering of current using light-gauge wiring.
